About the Artist
Roger White grew up in vacationland - sunny South Florida and lives in New York City. His entire psyche and what he paints is about vacation, and exploring the places of his memories - depicting people and activities. Beaches, pools, and lakes - places for relaxation and healing inspire his work. The light and colors in nature serve as his palette. Painting quickly, he captures a moment in time on a digital device using only a finger as his paintbrush.

Roger is an art director for “ABC Nightline.” He has accrued various accolades, including an Emmy Contribution Award for “Late Night with David Letterman” from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in 1986 and 1987, including an Emmy Award nomination in 1994 for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Graphic Design. Murrow Award for Overall Excellence in Television and Radio in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
